This song popped up in my Mirage playlist (think iTunes DJ) and I’m almost amazed that it still sounds a fresh now as it did back when it was released (admittedly only in Sweden) way back in the “was it really that long ago?!” year of 2003.
The video is a surreal one: it revolves around a man in a bear suit (!) finding a decapitated head in a box. Cue lots of scenes of a headless rabbit walking around before the eventual reunion of head and body. Oh and a lot of keyboard playing in-between, too.
The lyrics are very, very grade A - any song that opens with “I tried my best but I was only being me” leading on to “So just grab a seat and watch the casanova fall” instantly hooks me in; sorta’ story of my life-ish!
Anyhow video is above but it is very, zehr, mycket quiet Seriously. Grab you headphones, jack the volume up and do a Camden bop.
