I’m a MASSIVE Better Luck Next Time fan - and not just because the lead singer and I dress the same!
So far they haven’t released anything UKside which sucks as i’d love to go and see them. Hoepfully that’ll change with their third album! For such an incredible band it’s difficult for me to understand why they’re not better known or more popular, but i can console myself with the fact that they’re successful enough to be able to keep making awesome music!

This song popped up in my Mirage playlist (think iTunes DJ) and I’m almost amazed that it still sounds a fresh now as it did back when it was released (admittedly only in Sweden) way back in the “was it really that long ago?!” year of 2003.
The video is a surreal one: it revolves around a man in a bear suit (!) finding a decapitated head in a box. Cue lots of scenes of a headless rabbit walking around before the eventual reunion of head and body. Oh and a lot of keyboard playing in-between, too.
The lyrics are very, very grade A - any song that opens with “I tried my best but I was only being me” leading on to “So just grab a seat and watch the casanova fall” instantly hooks me in; sorta’ story of my life-ish!
Anyhow video is above but it is very, zehr, mycket quiet Seriously. Grab you headphones, jack the volume up and do a Camden bop.
